Kevin McCloud from Grand Designs the Channel 4 property programme installed a rainwater harvesting system supplied by rainwaterharvesting.co.uk in the sustainable home he built at London’s Grand Designs exhibition and live on TV 3-9 May 2008.

The rain water collection kit included a 1600 litre Hercules tank with downpipe filter, top-of-the-range mains switchover manager with built-in pump, everything needed to use rainwater inside and outside the home.

The normal retail on this system is £1,417; the web price £1265; and the Grand Designs Live show special price £1,100 all prices including VAT mainland UK delivery.

One lucky visitor to the RainWater Harvesting.co.uk Stand B86 won the complete rainwater harvesting system as fitted by Kevin to the sustainable home.

Ten runners up received 10% discount off their first rainwater harvesting purchase, the discount voucher will have a maximum claim value of up to £500.

Some basic rules apply. The competition is open to any person not either working for or associated with rainwaterharvesting.co.uk and who is resident in the UK. The runners up must purchase their system during 2008 and the last date to claim is 31.12.08. The 1st prize is for the components used in the show. They will be delivered to a mainland UK address in full working order and will be covered by the same guarantees as any purchase made from the company. There is no cash alternative.  The prize and discounts  are not transferable to other parties and may only be claimed once. The company may use the information entered on the completed entry form or displayed on the business card to contact the competitor after the show so that a claim can be made. The company may also use the contact information supplied as part of the competition to promote rainwater harvesting products from time to time. No information will be passed to third parties or sold for use by any other company. Rainwaterharvesting.co.uk does not share lists or customer information with third parties.
