RainWater Harvesting Ltd are delighted to announce that they are winners of the 2020 Homebuilding and Renovating Awards Best Rainwater Product which was announced Friday 24th July during the Virtual Show.
Presented by Micheal Holmes, Content Director and NaCBA Chair and Jason Orme, Managing Director at Homebuilding & Renovating, the awards showcased the very best in the industry, as shortlisted by the judges and readers.
During this difficult year mains water consumption has risen significantly and increased strain on the network. Rainwater can be used for toilets, washing machines and outside use so a significant saving on mains supply. There is no need to flush toilets with treated drinking quality bought from miles away. Rainwater is collected off the roof, filtered and stored in an underground tank. Water is then pumped back from the harvesting tank to the home. Harvesting water can also act as a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) to prevent flooding. Collecting and using water where it falls makes common sense.
RainWater Harvesting Ltd design and manufacture systems in the UK for UK homes.
We are really pleased that the whole of our industry has been recognised as an important contribution to future water sustainability. Thank you very much to all who recognised the significance and importance of our contribution in supporting our country. We believe that every new home should have a rainwater supply and winning the award gives extra leverage as to why water was not included in the recently announced Green Homes Grant.
The Summer Home Building & Renovating Virtual Show is a replacement for the exhibitions but features many of the advantages of personally attending a show from your own home. Navigating around the site can take you to different stands, seminar theatres , expert panels and there is a program of Master Classes. Our presentation is at 14.15 Saturday 25th July. Over the two days there will be dedicated teams from all exhibitors waiting to answer any questions for your next project.
At RainWater Harvesting we hope that you enjoy the show and Thank you again.
